XDefiant is one of the expected games like other Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed Mirage. To make players wait, the studio offers a beta phase that is accessible to a privileged few.
However, like many recent games, players may encounter all kinds of bugs. In some cases, an error code is displayed and among those known, we find the Echo code 04. Some players wonder if a solution exists and the answer is unfortunately no. We explain why.
How to fix Echo error code 04 on XDefiant?
Since the game's beta release this Thursday, April 13, players have been encountering bugs of various types, including one that displays the Echo 04 error code message. If you encounter Echo error 04, you should know thatit is due to a connection problem with the XDefiant servers. This may be due to them being offline and to find out if this is the case, all you have to do is check server status by visiting the game's official Twitter page.
We are investigating loading and connection issues, as soon as we have more information we will update.
There is also a delay in access via email after claiming a Twitch Drop, so please keep an eye on your inbox!
Thank you for your patience in the meantime! https://t.co/pLS0tQMVM3

If no information about maintenance or a problem with the servers has been communicated on Twitter, you can also go to the Trello dedicated to the game (source) which gives information about bugs and server status. If, despite everything, no communication has been made on these two sources, we recommend that you contact Ubisoft Support (source) or simply wait until the situation returns to normal.
Of course, we remind you that the game is currently in beta and the developers are working on fixing the problems encountered by players. Finally, remember that XDefiant does not yet have an official release date.More the title is planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox On, Xbox Series X|S and Amazon Luna.
